In 1986 Widener University commissioned this painting, which beautifully portrays the heart of the campus in the sunshine of a spring morning. It includes Old Main with the Dome, the Armory, the Admissions Building (the old library), and the Nursing Annex.

The artist, David Keeling, oversaw the painting’s reproduction as offset lithographs, which were printed on acid-free, museum-quality paper to ensure their color and durability. He signed each one before the Office of Alumni Relations offered them to the University’s alumni and friends.
