In 1987 Roanoke College commissioned this painting of the front campus in the bright light of a beautiful spring day.

The artist, David Keeling, oversaw the painting’s reproduction as offset lithographs, which were printed on acid-free, museum-quality paper to ensure their color and durability. Each print was signed, double-matted and framed in a gold-lipped, mahogany-stained, varnished, wood molding before the Office of Alumni/Parents Relations offered them to the College’s alumni and friends.
