In 1989 the Pennsylvania State University officially commissioned this drawing of the Nittany Lion. The artist, David Keeling, oversaw the drawing’s reproduction as offset lithographs, which were printed on acid-free, museum-quality paper to ensure their durability.

Mr. Keeling signed each print before the Alumni Association offered them for sale to the University’s alumni and friends.
